Ten years of being a widower hasn’t taken away James Hartono’s (65) charm. A wealthy businessman and father of five, he is finally ready to open his heart again this time to Melati Kusuma (45), a beautiful widow from Garut with a sweet smile and possibly a few hidden agendas. Unfortunately for James, his five children Arnold Harrison Hartono (39), Fiona Abigail Hartono (37), George Christofer Hartono (29), Vivian Gabriella Rose Hartono (28), and the youngest, Donny Rafael Fernandes Hartono (21) are not about to sit back and watch. They quickly sense something suspicious about their soon-to-be stepmother, who seems far more interested in their father’s bank account than his affection.

The situation becomes even more chaotic when George, a handsome actor, and Vivian, the office worker, both want to marry their partners. Instead of giving them support and parental blessing, Melati tells them to earn their own money first, making tensions rise even higher.

Meanwhile, Donny the spoiled youngest child comes up with mischievous schemes to sabotage Melati, from ridiculous pranks to absurd traps that only a 21-year-old troublemaker could think of.

Amid the family chaos, Arnold the eldest and the company’s director leads a mission called “Save Our Father from the Gold-Digging Stepmother”. He is joined by Fiona, the perfectionist architect who can’t stand even a drop of family drama. Their in-laws, Olivia (Arnold’s wife) and David (Fiona’s husband), struggle to hold back their laughter while also helping craft strategies to ensure James and Melati’s wedding never happens.

But Melati is no ordinary woman. With three previous marriages and a lifetime of dramatic experience, she has her own tricks to turn the situation in her favor.

Will Melati win over her five stubborn soon-to-be stepchildren?
Or will the Hartono family’s outrageous plans succeed in stopping the wedding before it even begins?

In this heartwarming yet hilariously chaotic tale filled with laughter, love, and mischief, the Hartono family must learn that sometimes, the greatest enemy can become the most valuable teacher.
Or perhaps an enemy will always remain an enemy?
